With Care, a kid’s Android phone keeps getting its rules, your answers and bedtime when it’s away from home.
Your kids, rules, chores, history and photos, locked with your Recovery Kit code before they leave the house. We store it, but we can’t open it unless you ask us to be able to.
Care sends your Board’s screens to your phone through Homestead’s servers. Today that connection is encrypted to our servers and from our servers to your Board. It is not yet encrypted end to end, so Homestead could technically see what passes through while you use it away from home. We don’t store it. End-to-end encryption is on our roadmap.

If you stop Care, your Board keeps everything it has. It just stops doing the away-from-home things.
