We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we keep working toward it.
What we’ve done
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a clear focus ring and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pictures of the Board and the Parent app have text descriptions, and screen readers skip the decorative drawings.
- Text and buttons use strong color contrast, and pages still work when you zoom to 200%.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, Homey stops moving.
- The waitlist forms have labels and announce errors and success to screen readers.
What we know needs work
- The product pictures are images, so their small text can’t be resized on its own. The descriptions say what each one shows.
- We haven’t had an outside accessibility review yet. We plan one before Homestead goes on sale.
